The shrine bears partial lettering reading "...AHAMSA NIT...", and a red-draped kalasha sits on top. A yellow-orange cloth with red dots hangs behind the flagpole, and petals and kolam-style designs cover the ground. A figure in white stands at the edge of the frame.2009-08-11September 14 20092009-09-14A photograph of an outdoor ceremony at a white shrine with a dome-shaped top and pillars. A man in a flowing saffron-orange robe, with long dark hair and a gold necklace, stands at right pulling red cords on a metal flagpole, with an orange cloth bundle tied to the pole. Beside him, a man in a white shirt with gold bracelets holds a cord at left. A yellow cloth with red dots hangs behind the pole, and a gold-tipped wrought-iron gate is at left. A printed sign on the shrine reads partly as Paramahamsa Nithyananda. The scene suggests a flag-hoisting or dedication at a newly inaugurated centre.2009-08-11August 11 20092009-08-11A bare-chested man in orange ochre cloth wraps an orange rope around a tall grey pole outdoors, pulling it taut with both arms. He wears a long garland of white jasmine, gold-coloured bells and blue beads, with two green parakeet figures attached, and rudraksha beads hang at his chest. A man beside him in orange cloth and gold necklaces helps hold the rope, and people in white clothes stand behind. A red umbrella with tasselled fringe shades the scene under trees. The a person candidate cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so the role is described as a man in orange cloth.2012-07-03September 14 20092009-09-14 +1 copiesA photograph of a flag-hoisting ceremony outdoors. A person in a long orange robe with a white and red marigold garland and a rudraksha mala raises an orange cloth on a tall white flagpole, pulling a rope. A man in a white shirt holds a large red umbrella with multicoloured tassels over the scene. Men in white kurtas and white dhotis, some with yellow shawls, stand around, one with a black rudraksha necklace. Marigold garlands decorate a building behind, with palm trees and bananas nearby. Marigold petals lie at the base of the pole.2010-02-18A photograph of two men raising an orange flag on a tall copper pole outdoors under an overcast sky, with a palm frond at the right edge. The man at right, in an orange sannyasi-style robe with a bearded face and a gold ring on his finger, grips the orange rope and pulls the flag up the pole. The man at left, with long dark hair, wears a white kurta and a yellow shawl draped over one shoulder and watches the flag rise. Below them, the base of the pole is wrapped with a garland of yellow, purple and red flowers. The flag appears to bear a small emblem near its lower edge.2009-09-29September 29 20062006-09-29July 15 20112011-07-15
