In the foreground, a shaven-headed priest in white dhoti with a red shawl and a woman in a white sari with a red-bordered cloth and pendant pray with folded hands beside a brass plate of offerings and flower garlands, and a man in white stands by. A dark blue curtain hangs behind the stage and a purple bird logo appears at upper left, indicating a ritual pada puja offering.2010-10-19A photograph of a pada pooja ritual in an indoor room with white walls and a wall sconce. A seated figure in an orange robe and orange shawl, with long hair, a red tilak on the forehead and a garland of pink flowers, sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, hands pressed together in prayer and eyes closed. Devotees in white shirts and white dhotis, some in yellow shawls, kneel around the throne holding aarti oil lamps and brass plates with flowers and offerings. A woman in a white sari with a yellow shawl stands at right with hands folded. Through an open doorway at left, palm trees are visible outside. This appears to be a person seated on the throne, with devotees performing padapuja and aarti.2010-01-10August 02 20092009-08-02September 07 20092009-09-07 +1 copiesAugust 09 20092009-08-09
