A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne placing both hands on the head of a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who bows forward. The seated figure wears a long-sleeved saffron/orange robe and has long dark hair swept back; the man receiving blessing wears white with a red-and-white beaded necklace. Behind the throne is a gold repoussé backrest with a relief of a deity, edged with yellow and purple marigold garlands. To the left, a flower arrangement of white lilies and red roses sits on a white pedestal beside bamboo stalks and green draping. In the bottom left corner a man in an orange garment kneels and looks up toward the scene. The seated figure is an appearance-based a person (saffron robe, long swept-back hair, ornate throne), placed in a blessing (padapuja-style) moment; the page does not place him at this event.
