He wears an orange-red saffron cloth draped over his shoulders and bare upper body, with a red-and-white tilak on his forehead and long dark hair. Golden lion figures flank the throne, and its backrest is a large gilded sunburst with flame-like rays. Leopard-print cushions rest on the armrests against a deep red backdrop.2017-09-20 +1 copies2010 - Photo Album +3 copiesA crowded indoor hall with a red curtain backdrop and colourful patterned pillars. A long-haired figure in orange robes and an orange shawl sits on a white throne-like chair with white cushions, receiving a devotee. A young man in white with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala stands behind him holding a plate. Devotees in white and orange shawls gather around, including a woman in a multicoloured sari. On a white cloth in front are rudraksha malas, small booklets, framed pictures and sweets. The figure in orange has long hair and wears orange clothing with rudraksha beads, though the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so the seated figure is described by role only.2008-03-28January 24 20092009-01-24Three young men in ceremonial dress stand with palms pressed together in namaste on a stage with a deep red curtain. The two on the left wear orange dhoti-style garments edged in gold, with orange shawls and rudraksha malas. The man on the right wears white dhoti and shawl with a brown rudraksha mala and white forehead markings. Behind them a golden ornate throne with a large halo-like backdrop holds a printed portrait of a smiling figure in red and saffron robes with flower garlands, hands in anjali.2016-08-28January 01 20132013-01-01A photograph of an abhishekam at a temple shrine. A young attendant in an orange saffron wrap and leopard-print blouse, with a rudraksha mala and white markings on the arm and back, pours liquid from a silver vessel over a dark stone shivalingam set on a black pedestal. Behind it stands a large gilded deity murti dressed in red and green silk with gold patterned skirts, jewelled crown and garlands of red and white flowers. Gold ornamental panels frame the shrine, and small silver puja items sit at the base.2018-12-20September 07 20172017-09-07 +1 copiesA photograph of a man seated on an ornate gilded throne with a high, elaborately carved back and gold-embossed armrests, set against a backdrop of yellow, white, red and purple flower garlands. He wears a purple head wrap, a pink shawl draped over one shoulder, a brown sash at the waist, a yellow silk dhoti, and layered gold and beaded necklaces, and he sits with arms outstretched, smiling. Swamiji (probable) cues: long dark hair, a purple head wrap, saffron-pink and yellow ceremonial clothing, and ornate necklaces, shown here seated on the throne. Bare feet rest on a red cushion. A gold-carved cabinet stands at left and a framed picture sits on a small table at left edge.2009-12-19
