December 29 20082008-12-29Outdoor crowd photograph at an ashram-style courtyard with a pink-washed building behind. A large group of devotees stands closely packed, many women in white, cream, saffron and orange saris and salwar, plus men in white shirts and dhotis, some wearing rudraksha malas. In the foreground centre, a seated figure in an orange robe and orange head wrap, with long dark hair, sits on a white chair with hands folded, looking forward; this appearance matches the Swamiji (probable) cues of a saffron robe, orange head wrap and long hair. A man in an orange shawl stands at the upper left. Several people wear name badges. Sandals lie on the dirt ground in front.2006-12-20October 23 20062006-10-23May 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesDecember 17 20062006-12-17October 28 20062006-10-28Outdoor gathering of a large crowd watching a stage function under palm trees and orange flags. A green-and-yellow truck with slatted sides is parked in the middle of the road, with two women standing in its back, one in a teal head covering and one in a pink-and-red patterned sari. A crowd of men and women in white shirts, white dhotis and a red-and-white printed sari gathers around the truck, with a child in pink at the right edge. Behind them are tiled-roof houses, palm trees, a leaning utility pole and a broken, stripped tree, with power lines overhead under a clear blue sky.2012-01-07Outdoor photograph of a large crowd of devotees gathered on a dusty open ground at dusk, with trees, a low white wall and an electricity pylon in the background. Many women wear sarees and salwar kameez in pink, teal, blue, green and red, some with blue and purple patterned sarees, and several men in white shirts and dhotis stand among them. Several people hold small paper cups and a woman in front wears a red blouse with a cream saree and another wears a white saree with a green border. A large crowd of mostly men and some women sits and stands on bare earth, many wearing white dhotis, checked lungis and saffron-orange shawls. In the upper centre, a man with long grey hair and a white shawl stands above the crowd, while a man in a green striped shirt raises his hand in front. A woman in an orange-yellow sari stands at the right, and a green leafy branch and a ladder lean against the wall. The scene suggests a community meeting or relief distribution in a village.
