A seated figure in a red turban, red garment and garlands sits on an ornate golden throne with a gilded arch and kalasha-topped canopy. A woman in a red-and-orange saree sits cross-legged on a mat at left, with a brass thali of flowers, fruit and lamps before her. In the foreground stands a grey stone Shiva linga draped with pink cloth. Potted plants and an open doorway complete the scene.2022-01-25Jan 25 2022 sripuram2022-01-25July 27 2022 Sripuram2022-07-27Jan 23 2022 sripuram2022-01-23A woman in a magenta sari stands at left, reaching up to adjust or touch a red-and-orange turban on a golden statue. The seated statue wears a striped purple-and-brown garment, layered rudraksha-style beaded malas, jeweled pendants and a tiger-striped cloth draped over a rust-colored skirt, with a golden kalasha-like lamp and a gold trident beside the throne. The golden throne is carved with lotus motifs and a yellow cushion, set in an ornate gilded hall with a wall clock. A small flower offering of yellow chrysanthemums sits on a red cloth at the bottom. The statue is a murti, not a living person, so no physical a person is present; the figure is a depiction only if matched to his identity, which the image does not establish.2021-12-29Jan 24 2022 sripuram2022-01-24A woman in a red-orange saree and matching red blouse kneels on the polished floor of a gold-ornamented temple hall, holding a lamp toward a seated figure. The seated figure is a statue in a red and gold turban, garlanded with flower necklaces and a beaded mala, seated on a golden throne with a gold arch behind it. Gold-carved pillars, a gilded ceiling with rosette medallions, and two dark green guardian figures flank the throne. Flower offerings and a small gold elephant sit on a pink cloth before the statue, and a potted plant stands nearby. The scene appears to be a puja or aarti offering to the statue.2022-01-25Jan 26 2022 sripuram2022-01-26
