A procession of men in orange and saffron dhotis, some bare-chested with rudraksha malas, carries a brass aarti plate with lit flame and flowers. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti with gold border holds a silver-topped ceremonial staff under a white parasol with colourful fringe. A brass oil lamp stands at the left edge, and a camera operator is partly visible. Persons on the right wear orange and green saris. Several people are visible in the procession. Appearance-based label: a person is not assigned here; the central figure is described by role only as a ritual leader in maroon garb.2016-12-14A procession walks along a stone-paved path between large banyan tree roots under a bright canopy. A central man in a deep maroon-brown robe and matching turban wears a long white and pink flower garland and a gold-toned necklace. Above him a green, red and orange canopy with long fringed tassels is held aloft on a pole by a man in saffron. Around him walk other men: a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a rudraksha mala at left, several in saffron or orange cloth, and a bare-chested figure in a white dhoti at right.
