A small home shrine room with cream walls and a wooden cabinet. A priest in an orange-red dhoti with gold-bordered cloth bows low over a brass murti, performing padapuja or abhishekam with his hands on the metal base. Beside him, a woman in a red-orange sari and garlands of red and yellow marigolds stands with her head bent in devotion. A framed portrait of a long-haired figure in ornate clothing with a garland hangs on the cabinet, and a brass lamp sits on a small table. Clothing and flowers are the only other colours; the portrait is a depiction, not a person present, and no identity is stated.2014-06-22Two men in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stand before a golden shrine niche with arched pillars and a row of amber lights. The man on the left, bare-shouldered with a rudraksha mala and an armband of beads, and a red mark on his forehead, stands with hands folded. The man in the centre, bare-backed and bent forward, is offering a white flower garland at a small gilded shrine holding a deity murti, with brass lamps, kalasha-style vessels and a plate of flowers in front.2012-05-14 +1 copiesInside a shrine niche with warm orange lights outlining the arch, a bare-chested priest in an orange-red dhoti with gold border stands with his back to the camera, bending to a deity murti decorated with pink and red flowers beneath a gold canopy. Beside him on the left, a man in orange-red robes, gold necklace and a white tilak stands with hands clasped in front. Silver pots and an oil lamp sit on the altar ledge, and a garland of white and red flowers hangs at left. This appears to be a puja at a deity shrine.2012-05-10May 12 20122012-05-12May 10 20122012-05-10May 14 20122012-05-14 +1 copiesMay 14 20122012-05-14 +1 copiesJuly 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesJune 23 20142014-06-23July 02 20142014-07-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a small home shrine room with pale pink walls and a barred window with pink flowers outside.
