They wear red and orange saffron-coloured robes with white vibhuti horizontal lines on their foreheads, and several wear rudraksha mala necklaces of dark beads. Their hands rest on their laps and one boy wears small earrings and glasses. Behind them, a red curtain, a sofa and a few seated adults in the background suggest an indoor satsang. Oil lamps are visible at the lower right.2013-09-25June 06 20122012-06-06April 06 20132013-04-06October 20 20132013-10-20 +1 copiesA young shaven-headed boy with closed eyes sits in meditation in the foreground, wearing an orange saffron cloth over one shoulder, a maroon undergarment and a dark rudraksha mala with a small pendant. He has white vertical tilak marks on his forehead and arms and a red dot between his brows. Behind him, other boys and men in maroon and orange robes sit in a row, some with white forehead markings, in a blurred hall. He wears a long rudraksha mala with gold spacer beads around his neck and a white vertical tilak with a red dot on his forehead, and holds a thin reed or grass strand in his hands. Behind him, other children in orange robes sit in a row, and pink flower petals and yellow marigolds are scattered on a colourful striped cloth. The setting suggests a ritual or initiation gathering.2013-10-13
