Brass oil lamps stand on either side.2013-05-28A temple shrine with a golden arched frame and grey stone pillars holds two large metal murti of deities with crowns, one holding a trident-like staff, both wearing garlands of white, yellow, red and purple flowers. The central deity murti wears a blue and gold crown and jewelry, and a seated female murti in blue garments stands beside it. The setting appears to be a puja or aarti at an outdoor shrine.2010-12-26Inside a stone temple shrine, a shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes kneels at the base of a large deity murti pair, seated on a red-draped platform. The two figures, painted in gold and yellow with green backdrop cloth, wear ornate garlands and crowns. The priest holds a small ritual object before a brass kalasha-style vessel with a hanging rudraksha-like mala, with brass lamps and puja vessels arranged on the red cloth below. The gilded arch frames the shrine. No one is recognizable as a person by appearance; the person present is a priest performing puja.2013-05-27A temple shrine with gold-framed arch and orange-red drape behind two large deity murtis with multiple arms and crowns, one holding a trident, the central figure adorned with red and white garlands. A seated priest in reddish-orange cloth with sandalwood markings on his arms and chest sits in anjali mudra at the lower left, facing the altar. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha, plates and bowls of offerings sit on the platform, along with a red-garlanded object on a white cloth. At right, a green-backed niche holds a standing statue of a man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala, which is a statue and not a live person, so no a person candidate is visible in person. The scene is a puja at the shrine.2013-03-30June 09 20092009-06-09A photograph of a temple shrine with carved grey stone pillars and a gilded arch framing two large deity murtis against a red curtain.
