A man in a saffron-orange robe, gold necklaces, gold armlets and a white tripundra on his forehead, with long swept-back hair, presses his palm to the forehead of a young man in a black shirt while holding a folded white paper in his other hand. Swamiji (probable) by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces and saffron clothing. Nearby, a young man in white dhoti with rudraksha mala and glasses bows, and other devotees in white and orange stand around. A man in a rust-orange robe with a long gold bead necklace and orange shawl places his right hand on the head of a shaved-headed young man in white kurta and glasses, who stands with hands folded. The orange-robed man, smiling, holds an open booklet in his other hand. Behind them, a man in white dhoti and shawl with tilak stands at right holding a tray, and other attendees in white and orange stand in the background. Garlands and a draped decorative pillar frame the scene. Swamiji (probable): the orange-robed man with long swept-back hair, gold beaded necklace and orange shawl, placing a hand on the initiate's head.2013-04-06 +3 copiesA man in an orange-red saffron shawl with a multi-strand gold bead necklace and a red tilak on his forehead places his right hand on the head of a bespectacled young man in white. The blessing figure holds a folded white paper in his left hand and looks down. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and shirts stand watching, one holding a bead mala, and a gold-coloured ritual vessel is visible at the right edge. A partial red-and-yellow banner hangs at the top of the scene. Swamiji (probable): the saffron shawl, gold necklace and long swept-back hair mark him as the central figure giving a blessing; the setting suggests a darshan or blessing moment.2010-12-28April 17 20132013-04-17 +2 copiesNovember 15 20112011-11-15
