A seated figure in orange-red robes with a gold-bordered cloth performs a puja on an orange cloth spread across a white marble floor. Brass items are arranged before them: a brass plate holding a red flower, a small brass cup, a conch shell on a stand, a brass bell, a small oil lamp and an incense stick in a holder, and a dish of kumkum or vibhuti. A green-tinted basin with floating flowers sits behind. A rudraksha mala hangs at the shoulder and a bangle is worn on the wrist. No face is visible, so the figure is described by role only; a person is unsure.2011-09-16January 07 20172017-01-07Overhead photo of a puja setup on a white marble floor. Nearby are brass cups, a brass spoon, a brass kalasha-style vessel, a small brass bell-like lamp, a bowl of white offering, and a clear plastic box of marigold petals. A mobile phone sits on the cloth. No face is visible, so no identity is established.2017-01-25A brass puja arrangement laid on a rust-orange cloth over a wooden surface. Several polished brass plates hold betel leaves, a small brass ritual bell stands at right, a brass tumbler sits at the top, and a lit oil lamp in a brass dish glows at left. Pink flowers and a bangle rest on a gold-brocade cloth at lower right, and a stick of incense smokes near a white ceramic holder. No people are visible.2012-06-01Close view of a puja being performed on a grey mat over a white floor. A person seated in white dhoti and cloth holds a small brass spoon over brass cups and a shell-shaped conch. Brass plates hold pink flower petals, a small heap of white crystals, a folded orange cloth, and a lit oil lamp stands at left. Another hand in white pours from a small vessel at right. The scene looks like an aarti or abhishekam offering, with brass ritual implements.2009-08-29Close photo of a puja setup on a white marble floor. A person in orange robes wears a rudraksha bracelet and holds a small brass oil lamp, lit with a flame, over an arrangement of brass plates with pink flower petals, sandalwood paste, a pink conch shell, incense sticks, a brass bell and small brass cups.
