The foreground drummer, wearing a white shirt with a blue cloth tucked at the shoulder strap, holds a large wooden-rimmed drum with a worn hide face and strikes it with a thin stick. Beside him, a second drummer in a white dhoti with a blue-edged border and a striped waistband plays a smaller white-faced drum with a stick. Only hands, arms and lower bodies are visible, with a tree and roadside behind them.
