Photograph of a ritual scene in a plain white-walled hall with a corrugated roof and red-painted lower wall. Several men in saffron-orange robes stand in a row with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. The man at right, in saffron robes, raises a lit flame on a lamp toward a carved stone shrine at the right edge, decorated with a banana plant and a plate of red offerings. A tray of brass oil lamps and small offerings sits on red cloth at the lower left. Behind them, a small doorway shows a shrine with a decorated murti. Another person in white clothing stands at the back left.

A photograph of a temple-style ritual indoors on a red patterned carpet. In the foreground, an elderly man with long white beard and long grey hair, wearing a saffron-orange robe and a tilak on his forehead, bends forward with hands hovering over a brass lamp tray holding several lit oil lamps. Beside him, a shaved-headed man in rust-brown and gold-bordered dhoti kneels and holds the tray. Behind them, a standing priest in brown and gold clothing presses his palms together in prayer, and another man in a brown-and-gold garment wearing a white flower garland and a gold necklace stands with hands folded. A gold-and-red ornate throne and a patterned red-and-gold backdrop are behind them. Approximately four people are visible.

Indoor photograph in a white-walled room with an arched doorway. A central figure in saffron-orange robes and a tall orange turban wears a white and red flower garland and holds a lit oil lamp over a tray of flower petals, as if performing aarti. Beside him, a man in orange holds a small kalasha-style pot with leaves on a tray, and a man kneeling at left in orange pours or offers from a vessel. A woman in orange sari with folded hands and men in white shirts and white dhotis stand nearby, one person in the background raising a camera. The central figure has long hair and a visible rudraksha-style mala, with distinctive saffron clothing and turban cues.

A photograph of an evening aarti in a temple-like room. A man in saffron-orange robes and a gold-bead mala necklace, with swept-back dark hair, holds a brass oil lamp with a lit flame. Beside him a shaved-headed monk in orange robes with a red tilak stands watching. To the left, a woman in white with a yellow shawl stands with head bowed, and another woman stands behind. White walls and a doorway frame the background. Swamiji (probable) cues are the swept-back hair, orange robes and gold-bead mala of the man holding the lamp.

A photograph of a temple courtyard at dusk where several saffron-robed sannyasis stand barefoot in a line facing a stone shrine ledge. A younger man in an orange robe with a maroon sash stands at the right, holding a lit flame toward brass lamps and a kalasha-like vessel on the ledge, apparently performing aarti. Other people in white dhotis stand at the left, and a red-clad deity murti with a garland is visible at the right edge. A banana plant, red cloth hanging and whitewashed buildings frame the scene. Five people in saffron robes are visible, plus two or three in white.

Outdoor ceremony under a white canopy with orange-and-maroon drapery and marigold garlands. Several men in saffron and orange robes stand in a row. At the center-right, a bearded elder in orange holds a large brass oil lamp with a kalasha-like finial and fresh flower garlands around its base, while a bald man in orange reaches out to it. A man on the left wears a saffron turban and an orange wrap, and a standing figure in an orange shawl is nearby. Some people are partially visible at the edges.

Photograph of a temple interior where a line of saffron-robed monks stands barefoot with palms pressed together in namaskar. Five or six men in orange garments face a carved stone shrine with a lit flame and a banana plant beside it. A man in the foreground holds a lamp or aarti flame toward the shrine. Brass oil lamps and a tray of offerings sit on a cloth at lower left, and a red curtain hangs in the background.

A photograph inside a temple hall during a ritual. On the left, a bare-chested priest in white dhoti holds a lit oil lamp toward a silver-and-gold palanquin draped with garlands of pink and white flowers and red roses. Standing in a row to the right are several men in saffron-orange robes with gold borders; the tallest in the centre wears a crown-like headband and a flower garland, and the man on the right has a long beard, rudraksha beads and a gold-bordered orange wrap. A watch-wearing man in white stands behind them. Ornate red and gold canopy fabric hangs overhead.

A photograph of a ceremony under a white tent draped with marigold garlands. Several saffron-robed men stand in a row. On the right, an older bearded man with a shaved head and white beard, in orange robes, holds a hand over a large brass lamp with multiple flames, its base wrapped in orange and yellow marigold garlands and a pink flower bowl. Behind it, a golden seated figure with orange floral garlands stands on a pedestal. Further right, a man in orange with a turban and rudraksha mala extends his hand toward the lamp. On the left, a man in orange robes with a turban stands with hands folded, and beside him younger men in saffron and yellow robes stand attentively. The scene suggests a lamp-lighting ritual with fragrant smoke.
