A large seated audience of women fills the frame at a satsang, viewed from the front with grey metal crowd-control barriers between rows. Most wear white or cream saris and salwar kameez with pink, maroon, orange, green and purple borders, plus gold necklaces, bangles, bindis and spectacles. Many have hands folded or rest quietly, with faces attentive and serious. Some have yellow or gold lanyards and folded hands, and several are in prayer or chanting posture. A videographer with a camera on a tripod stands at the left edge, and potted plants and a small table with a water bottle are visible near the back. Many devotees are seated in close rows, and the sitters near the front are mostly women.2009-07-01A large photograph of a dense seated audience at a satsang, mostly women in white and pastel saris with gold necklaces and bangles, many with hands raised or resting on chins, faces attentive toward an unseen speaker.
