A crowded photograph inside a corrugated metal roofed shelter at a Himalayan shrine, with many people seated and standing shoulder to shoulder in orange saffron robes and orange shawls. In the foreground a young woman in orange holds a long metal ritual staff with a trident-like top, and a bearded man in orange sits beside her. Several women in white or grey jackets, caps and a woman in a blue jacket photographing with a camera appear at right. Rocky stone and a red railing are visible at left, and the setting resembles a pilgrimage site with temple pillars and bare stone walls behind the gathering.2006-05-24August 08 20172017-08-08 +1 copiesApril 22 20162016-04-22A large orange-and-white tent filled with seated devotees in saffron and orange robes, with many people sitting on carpets and a dirt floor under tent poles. Most wear saffron-orange shawls and robes, and a few wear white or grey and pink jackets, with some hooded heads visible. In the centre, a man in orange with long dark hair and a beaded mala sits cross-legged with his hands together near brass vessels and a small deity murti on a wooden stand. Other orange-clad men sit around him, and a person in a dark jacket leans in at left. Ritual items including a brass tray and kalasha-like vessels are arranged on the platform, and umbrellas and staffs are visible at the top. This appears to be a homa or puja gathering outdoors, with the a person identity uncertain from appearance alone.2006-05-30A crowded outdoor pandal under a corrugated metal roof with a trident-topped standard and a gold kalasha-style finial at left. Several men in saffron and orange robes with matching orange and maroon turbans stand and sit in a dense group, one in a dark red-brown robe with stripes drawing attention. A man in white shirt and dark trousers with a green-and-gold shawl stands at left, a man in yellow kurta at center-front, and seated devotees in orange clothing fill chairs at right. A cameraman in white shirt films at right, and a man in blue shirt stands behind the group. Some faces are partly visible at the bottom edge.2015-01-13August 08 20172017-08-08 +2 copiesApril 22 20162016-04-22
