May 05 20162016-05-05A seated man sits cross-legged on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions on a red-carpeted stage, smiling broadly. He wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over the shoulders and a rudraksha-style mala, with a red tilak on his forehead. Behind the throne is a large carved wall relief of a multi-armed goddess figure with a crown and a lion-like guardian. A microphone stands at right and a small wooden cabinet sits at left. Appearance-based candidate: a person, based on saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and a throne on stage, seated as a teacher in a satsang or discourse setting.2016-05-05A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on an ornate gold and red throne with a cobra-hood canopy on a red-carpeted stage. He has long hair and a red bindi, wears a rudraksha-style necklace, and holds his hands together in his lap. A microphone stand stands to his right and a small cabinet with a red cloth sits to his left. Behind him a large carved relief panel shows a multi-armed deity murti flanked by lion figures against dark red drapes. Swamiji (probable): the long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha cues match the throne-seated figure, so this is treated as a probable appearance match.2016-05-05May 05 20162016-05-05May 05 20162016-05-05A photograph of a seated man in a golden ornate throne with a red cushioned seat, wearing orange-saffron robes and a long rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders, smiling while holding a microphone stand. He wears an orange-saffron robe and a rudraksha mala with a shawl-like wrap, and has a red tilak on his forehead. Behind the throne is a large carved relief panel of a multi-armed goddess murti with a crown, flanked by lion figures, with red curtains on either side and a red stage floor. A small cabinet and a red cloth bundle sit to the left. Visible cues: long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and saffron clothing, so this is a probable Swamiji seated in person giving a talk.2016-05-05A seated man in orange-saffron robes sits on an ornate gold throne with a gold canopy-umbrella on a red-carpeted stage. Long dark hair falls past his shoulders and a red tilak mark is on his forehead; his hands are clasped in his lap. Behind him a large bronze-toned relief shows a multi-armed seated deity murti with a crown, flanked by gilded peacock-patterned screens. Stage monitors, a microphone stand and a camera are visible, and a photographer kneels at the lower right edge. Slippers rest beside the throne.2016-04-21February 28 20172017-02-28A photograph of a man seated cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with red cushions on a raised stage, in a satsang hall. He wears a saffron-orange robe, a matching orange turban, and a long rudraksha mala with ceremonial gold ornaments; a microphone stands before him. A golden trident leans to the left.2016-11-20A photograph of a seated man on an ornate golden throne with a curved, carved back, on a raised stage. He wears a rust-orange and brown draped cloth over his shoulders and body, a long brown beaded mala with a bead-like pendant hanging to his chest, and a red bindi on his forehead. He smiles, one hand resting on the carved armrest, a microphone on a stand beside him. Behind him a large carved relief panel shows a seated sage with a staff and a bearded ascetic figure. A tall golden trident stands at left, a small brass vessel sits on a side table, and potted plants and clay pots line the stage, with a green stage light in the lower right corner. The page indicates this is a discourse, but no attendees are visible.2017-02-27February 28 20172017-02-28
