Photograph of a ceremonial satsang seated on a gold-cushioned throne backed by yellow, orange and red marigold garlands. A central seated man with short dark hair wears a saffron-orange cloth, a thick green-and-white flower garland, and red and orange beaded malas, smiling as he reaches down to a devotee. A bare-chested man in front wears orange-brown rudraksha malas and white markings on his upper body. A woman in a white sari with dark beaded malas leans in, a girl in a gold-trimmed white dress sits beside her, and a woman in maroon behind the throne smiles. A golden lion-like figure and a small golden deity murti stand nearby, with a microphone on a stand at the left edge. Several other devotees sit in the foreground.2015-07-31February 21 20162016-02-21August 20 20142014-08-20 +1 copiesOctober 27 20142014-10-27 +1 copiesDecember 09 20122012-12-09 +1 copiesA photograph of a padapuja-style ceremony in an ornate hall with cream marble walls and gold-trimmed decor. On the left, a seated figure in orange-brown robes wears a long garland of pink and yellow flowers and rests his feet on a low table, with a golden lion sculpture behind him. Facing him, a woman in a white sari kneels over brass plates and trays, while a woman in orange and a man in white with an orange shawl sit with hands pressed together in prayer. A shaved-headed man in white sits at the far left edge. Green foliage hangs from the top of the frame and draped curtains sit in the background.2012-12-04 +1 copiesA seated man with long dark hair swept back, wearing an orange-brown draped garment, a red flower garland with a gold pendant, and a gold-and-yellow fabric edge, reaches out to bless a shaved-headed young boy in white kurta and orange shawl who bows with raised hands. Behind them, women in orange and yellow saris stand and watch, one wearing glasses and beads; a red velvet curtain hangs at left, and a tray of small packets sits in the lower left corner. The setting suggests a satsang or blessing moment with a mix of devotee roles. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), seated and giving blessings with long swept-back hair, an orange draped garment and a red garland.2013-05-28July 19 20132013-07-19A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate golden throne, wearing a rust-orange dhoti and shawl with gold beaded necklaces and rudraksha beads, smiling and extending a hand to a young woman in a white dress who offers a small silver vessel. Behind the throne are garlands of yellow marigolds and red roses and a golden deity murti. Smiling women in white saris and orange-bordered shawls stand nearby, and young men in white shirts with rudraksha malas watch with hands folded. Partial heads of onlookers appear in the foreground. This is a Swamiji (probable) candidate appearing in person, identified by the saffron-orange clothing, long swept-back hair and ceremonial gold necklaces.2015-07-31February 24 20162016-02-24A photograph inside a temple hall with arched white walls and a yellow curtain behind. A man with long swept-back dark hair, orange-saffron shawl, long rudraksha-style bead necklaces with gold ornaments, a white jasmine garland, and a vermilion mark on his forehead places his right hand on the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt who presses his palms together in prayer. Another older man in white with grey hair stands beside, also with hands folded. Several men in white shirts and dhotis watch in the background, and a camera on a tripod is visible. The man with the garlands appears to be giving blessing to the devotee. Chest-level white sandalwood or vibhuti marks are visible on the blessing figure's arms and shoulder.2012-06-01July 31 20152015-07-31
