A seated person in an orange-red shawl and dark hair reaches out with both hands toward the head of a young boy in white who bows forward. Brass oil lamps stand behind them, with a leopard-print cushion and a gold-trimmed seat at the right. To the left, a woman in white with a red-brown rudraksha mala and a forehead mark sits with her hand on a girl's forehead, and other people in white and red stand in the background. The scene looks like a blessing or touching-of-the-head ritual in an ashram setting. The seated figure's appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity.2016-01-04Photograph of a seated figure in a rust-red saffron wrap with bare shoulder and arm, long swept-back dark hair, and a dark beaded mala, raising a hand toward the bowed head of a man in a white shirt kneeling in front. Two women in white saris with dark beaded necklaces sit at left. Behind them are brass oil lamps and a brass trident-shaped stand, a tall wooden carved pillar, and a leopard-print cushion on a carved wooden seat, with red walls and potted plants. The seated figure has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing, qualifying as a probable Swamiji candidate giving a blessing to the kneeling devotee.2016-01-04A seated figure in a rust-red robe with long, swept-back dark hair rests one hand on the head of a man kneeling in a white shirt and saffron cloth. The seated figure sits on a dark cushioned seat with a leopard-print pillow. Behind them, a woman in white with a red-bordered sari, red-beaded necklace and forehead kumkum looks on. Beside him stands a silver trident and behind is a gold ornate throne back. A woman in a white and gold sari with a red-bordered shawl bows her head at right, and another woman in white with a rudraksha-style mala waits at left. Behind them hang gold ceremonial necklaces and garlands on a purple draped table. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, a leopard-print wrap, rudraksha-style beads and a gold throne, matching the page's listing of Swamiji at this event, so the identification is appearance-based only.2014-12-26Photo of a padapuja-style blessing at an indoor evening gathering. A bare-shouldered man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a rust-red shawl and a gold-beaded necklace, sits on an ornate gilded throne with carved panels and an orange tasselled canopy above him. He rests one hand on the forehead of a young boy in an orange shirt, who stands before him with palms together. Behind them a woman in white with a rudraksha mala sits, and several children and adults in white, orange and green clothing watch from the background. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, identified by the throne, long swept-back hair, ceremonial gold necklace and rust-red shawl.2013-12-20A candid photograph of a night ritual indoors. A person with long swept-back dark hair and a red kumkum mark, wearing a saffron-red shawl, sits on a leopard-print cushioned seat and extends joined hands over a flame near brass oil lamps on a stand. Beside them a woman in a white sari with a red-bordered hem, a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark sits with head bowed; a seated person in white is in the lower foreground. Behind, a figure in a red shawl stands by red walls and potted plants, and a man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala is partly visible at upper right. Brass lamps, a wooden pillar and a ceremonial chain frame the scene.2016-01-04A long-haired figure in a rust-orange dhoti-style wrap and a rudraksha mala sits in the foreground, leaning forward to place a hand on the head of a young boy with a bowed head. Behind them a gold-decorated throne-like backdrop is visible, and a seated woman in white with a rudraksha mala watches. Standing in the background are a woman in white with an orange-and-red shawl and a man in white with a rudraksha mala and ID badge. Swamiji appears as a probable in-person candidate, identified by long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala, and saffron-gold shawl.2017-08-09
