A photograph of a standing man in a doorway of a weathered brick temple with carved sandstone lintels and pillars. He wears a rust-red upper garment with saffron-yellow borders and a matching red-and-yellow dhoti, and has long dark hair falling loose and a braided cord. He raises one hand in a greeting or blessing while holding a long wooden staff or walking stick. Wooden fencing and pink flowers sit at the base of the doorway. The doorway opens into a dark interior. The man is a single physical person, and his identity cannot be determined from appearance.2014-12-15July 13 20132013-07-13May 08 20122012-05-08Photograph of a man standing indoors in front of a partly carved wooden structure with arched wooden panels and a railing, under a corrugated metal ceiling and blue corrugated wall. He wears an orange-saffron cloth over one shoulder, a long necklace of rudraksha beads with bead ornaments, a red tilak on his forehead, and long dark hair tied back. He holds a small silver object in one hand while gesturing with the other and speaks. Another person in a red top sits on a chair at the right edge of the frame. Swamiji (probable) appears in person, identified by the saffron clothing, long hair and rudraksha mala.2013-07-13 +1 copiesJuly 14 20132013-07-14Photograph of two men standing in a temple doorway with dark wooden frames and colourful painted pillars at right. Both wear orange-saffron dhoti-style garments with gold borders, long garlands of white jasmine and red flowers, and gold beaded necklaces, with a gold headband on each. The man at right, smiling and raising a hand in greeting, has a red tilak on his forehead and a gold-trimmed saffron cloth. The man at left holds a small white card or paper in his hands and has white and red markings on his forehead. A third person in orange stands partly hidden behind them. Three visible people in a temple setting.2012-05-16 +1 copiesA photograph of a narrow stone passage inside a South Indian temple complex, with a gopuram visible in the background. In the centre, a man with long dark hair and a swept-back style wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, multiple rudraksha and beaded malas, and a gold necklace; he has a sandalwood or tilak mark on his forehead and is walking barefoot with an arm extended. Beside him, a bald priest in orange robes and a rudraksha mala carries a small brass vessel. Behind them, a uniformed police officer in khaki and a cap walks among devotees and attendants in orange and white. Large weathered wooden temple doors with iron fittings line both sides of the passage. Probable Swamiji is the central figure in orange with long hair, a gold necklace and rudraksha malas, shown in person.2012-05-22July 13 20132013-07-13July 13 20132013-07-13 +1 copiesA photograph of a man in an orange-red saffron cloth draped over his shoulders, with a bare chest, long swept-back dark hair, a small red bindi, and multiple rudraksha mala necklaces, speaking into a small handheld microphone. He stands in front of a wooden structure with a curved canopy and carved wooden detail, under blue tarpaulin and fluorescent lights. To the left, a man in a white dhoti and shawl with gold border, bearing a sandalwood-style mark on his forehead and a gold-and-bead necklace, stands beside him. Background spectators are partly visible at the right edge. The speaker's appearance suggests a candidate for Swamiji (probable), with long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha malas, though this is an appearance-based label only.2013-07-13June 24 20122012-06-24 +1 copiesMay 19 20122012-05-19
