April 24 20132013-04-24Close photo of a shaved-headed young man in eyeglasses standing with eyes closed, wearing an orange sannyasi wrap edged in deep red and a long rudraksha mala across his chest. He has white horizontal tilak lines and a red bindi on his forehead. Behind him, blurred seated devotees wear white clothes with red and orange shawls. The man appears to be a disciple or monk in meditative stillness; no ceremonial cues establish him as a person, so identity is uncertain.2013-03-31A photograph of a shaved-headed man in an orange saffron shawl sitting with eyes closed in a meditative posture. He wears a red bindi, white horizontal tilak stripes across the forehead and shoulders, long rudraksha mala beads and a pendant on a chain. Behind him, blurred figures in white and orange clothing sit in rows in a bright hall. The man's shaved head, plain ritual white and orange clothing and adornments do not establish an identity, so he is described only as a participant in orange robes.2017-03-01November 04 20152015-11-04March 13 20132013-03-13August 28 20162016-08-28A young man with short hair and black-framed glasses sits in the foreground wearing an orange saffron shawl over bare shoulders, multiple rudraksha malas on his neck and arms, and a red bindi with white ash markings on his forehead. He holds incense sticks in one hand and a small brass bell in the other, apparently performing a puja. Several other bare-chested participants in white and orange ritual cloths sit behind him, some with white ash stripes on their arms, in what appears to be a ritual gathering.2017-08-02A shaved-headed man in orange and maroon robes stands holding a small brass oil lamp with a lit flame in one hand, with a white cloth beneath it, while a metal vessel rests in his other hand. He wears a long rudraksha mala, rudraksha bracelets on his arms, and white ash markings on his forehead, arms and shoulders, with a red bindi. Behind him, rows of seated devotees in orange robes and white forehead markings sit with hands folded, some with rudraksha malas, indoors on a wooden floor. A small framed image and colourful items sit at the lower left. The scene suggests an aarti or puja performed before a seated assembly.2014-11-28October 06 20112011-10-06A photograph of a shaved-headed sannyasi in an orange saffron robe with a red border, wearing a long rudraksha mala and red-brown rudraksha bracelets, holding a lit brass oil lamp in his right hand while a small vessel rests in his left. He sits on a red mat among seated devotees in white ritual clothes with tilak markings, several with hands folded in anjali and rudraksha malas. Behind him, a man with palms pressed together and a bare-chested man in white are visible. The setting suggests a satsang or puja gathering with the lamp offering as the focus.2014-08-24Two young men with shaved heads sit cross-legged on a multicoloured striped mat in a hall, facing forward in meditation. Both wear saffron-orange draped robes and long brown rudraksha mala necklaces, with white ash markings on their arms and a red tilak on the forehead. The man on the left has no glasses; the man on the right wears clear-framed glasses. Behind them rows of seated devotees in white attire fill the hall, with tall golden poles in the foreground and framed photographs on the wall. A metal water bottle sits beside the right figure.2017-07-15June 21 20162016-06-21 +2 copies
