Many women wear white saris with pink, yellow, blue and brown borders, and rudraksha malas around their necks. A young girl and a small child sit near the front. Faces are lit by the dim evening light, and a white banner or screen is visible in the upper background. The crowd fills the frame, with many more people standing at the back.

A large seated audience of women and men fills a hall, many dressed in white with orange-bordered cloth, some wearing lanyard ID badges. In the foreground, a woman in a green-and-white floral dress and glasses sits beside an older woman in a cream sari with a maroon shawl and a brown head covering, wearing a rudraksha-style mala. Several attendees rest their hands on their faces or gaze toward the front, listening attentively.
