A photograph of an indoor event hall where a man in a saffron-orange robe with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and layered rudraksha-style beaded necklaces extends his right hand in blessing toward a line of devotees. The devotees, mostly men in casual shirts, grey sweaters and white kurta-style clothing, stand with palms pressed together and heads lowered. Behind them is a large framed portrait backdrop of a bearded figure with golden decorations, a projection screen and warm stage lighting. The appearance-based label a person applies to the orange-robed man giving blessing, with his cues being the long swept-back hair, saffron robe and ornate beaded necklaces; he is the one bestowing blessing on the devotees.2011-11-06April 10 20132013-04-10April 10 20132013-04-10 +1 copiesJune 20 20122012-06-20 +1 copiesNovember 15 20112011-11-15Photograph of a ceremonial moment in a temple-like hall. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala with a white vibhuti tripundra on his forehead smiles while raising his hand to his brow. Before him, a man in a white shirt with folded hands and glasses bows in respect, and an older man in white stands beside him, with a flower garland held nearby. On the right, a shaved-headed man in orange robes and beads watches. Behind them are ornate pillars, a blue wall and a golden decorative element. A person in a brown shirt is partly visible at the left edge. The saffron-robed man with long hair and rudraksha beads matches the page's Swamiji reference and is described as probable Swamiji, based on his long hair, saffron robe and mala.2012-06-20 +1 copiesJune 21 20122012-06-21November 06 20102010-11-06January 08 20122012-01-08A photograph of a ceremonial blessing scene. A central figure with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, a gold necklace, and layered rudraksha malas over saffron/orange ochre robes places his right hand on the head of a bowed older man in white with glasses. Around him, a shaved-headed priest in orange robes and other men in white clothes with hands pressed in namaskar stand near metal barrier posts. A red wooden tray with green leaves and offerings sits at lower right, and a yellow and blue hanging decoration hangs in the background.2013-01-21October 16 20112011-10-16A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange shawl wrapped over the shoulders and multiple gold-beaded rudraksha-style necklaces stands at the centre, extending a folded white paper or prasadam to a row of men in white shirts and white dhotis with hands folded in greeting. Behind him a shaved-headed attendant in a saffron cloth and beaded necklace stands by a tray of fruit, and an older man in white with an orange shawl is visible at right. The setting is an indoor hall with a projection screen and blue drapery. The central figure matches the probable Swamiji appearance cues of swept-back long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial beads, and is presented as the one giving prasadam to devotees.2011-02-27
