September 11 20112011-09-11September 11 20112011-09-11A photograph of a ceremonial reception on an outdoor stage with red carpet and a gold-and-cream throne decorated with yellow, red, purple and white flower garlands. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes with a gold necklace and bangles sits on the throne, smiling, with bare feet on a gold footstool; an appearance-based candidate for Swamiji (probable) on the throne, seated with long hair and saffron clothing. A woman in a white sari with a green border and a man in white shirt and trousers and dark glasses approach, the man holding a woven basket-like tray and the woman holding a plate. Saffron-robed attendants stand behind, and a white-clad man holds a decorated pot at left. Two people are visible at the left edge, with one woman on the far left, a white-clad man and a saffron-robed attendant. A carpeted dais and gilded ornate decorations frame the scene.2011-12-20Photo 11742963 +2 copiesNovember 17 20092009-11-17 +1 copiesJuly 07 20092009-07-07A seated man in an orange-saffron robe sits on an ornate gold throne heavily decorated with yellow, orange and red marigold garlands. He wears a gold-beaded necklace and a rudraksha mala with a saffron-orange garment, and smiles as a man in a white shirt and white trousers lifts a white-and-black ceremonial cap or pot over his head. Two saffron-robed attendants stand to the left, one wearing a long mala, and a woman in white kneels at the lower left. A golden footstool sits in front of the throne, and a small wooden shrine-like structure with carved frame stands in the background.2011-12-20August 15 20102010-08-15September 07 20092009-09-07 +1 copiesA seated figure in an orange-saffron robe and matching shawl sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned seat and red backrest, under a tented canopy with orange drapery. A man in a white dhoti and shirt stands at left raising a multicoloured garland of red, yellow and green flowers above the seated figure, while a woman in a maroon sari and another person in orange stand nearby. At right, a man in white holds white flower garlands strung along the throne's side, and another man in white with a beaded necklace stands at the edge. The figure is seated with hands folded.2009-11-17 +1 copiesJuly 17 20082008-07-17A seated man on a gold throne with a red velvet cushion, wearing a golden crown, long dark swept-back hair, orange saffron robes with gold borders, a red and white flower garland and a gold necklace, eyes closed with hands folded. Swamiji (probable): the figure shows long hair, a crown and saffron clothing. In front, a white-clad devotee with curly hair and a woman in an orange shawl and teal sari attend a puja, with silver bowls, fruit, a kalasha pot, a brass lamp and a flower-decorated tray. The backdrop is a red and gold brocade with white and coloured sequinned flower arches.2007-01-01
