A black stone statue of a seated sage, Sri Bhaskara Rayar, sits on a pale blue pedestal inside a building. The figure raises one hand in a blessing gesture and rests the other on his knee, wearing a shawl over the shoulders and a beaded necklace. A carved pink-and-white arched niche frames the statue. A brass-style plaque on the pedestal reads Sri Bhaskara Rayar, and a tiled floor and tubular lights surround the statue. No living people are visible.2007-12-12December 12 20072007-12-12December 12 20072007-12-12December 12 20072007-12-12December 12 20072007-12-12A dark grey stone statue of a seated sage or deity murti with a long carved beard and tall carved headdress, hands raised in mudra and resting on the knees, on a rectangular stone plinth.
