A photograph of a seated puja inside a plain white-walled room. A man in white clothes with a rudraksha mala, hands folded in namaste, sits on the floor beside a bowl of yellow flowers, with another man in white beside him. Two women with hair in braids sit in the foreground, one with a hair flower. In front of them are a silver Ganesha murti, a brass oil lamp, banana leaves with fruit and offerings, and heaps of marigold and red flowers. Behind the altar a framed portrait of a saffron-robed sannyasi with long hair and a rudraksha mala, garlanded with white and red flowers, is labelled with a printed name.

A seated priest in orange robes and an orange head wrap performs a fire ritual before a framed portrait garlanded with white and yellow flowers. The portrait shows a young man in orange clothing with a rudraksha-style necklace raising his hand in blessing, set against a tree backdrop. Below, a white stepped platform holds a deity murti in green cloth, red and yellow flowers, pineapples, bananas, a kalasha and brass oil lamps, with a small fire burning in a brass lamp and wood piled nearby. A microphone stands at left. The priest is a single physical person; the portrait is a printed image.

A photograph of a ritual puja in a whitewashed room. A man in white dhoti and shirt, with a rudraksha mala, sits cross-legged and holds up a lit oil lamp toward a framed portrait of a seated, long-haired saint in saffron robes beneath a banyan tree. The portrait is garlanded with white, yellow and red flowers and labelled in print. Two devotees sit beside him with palms pressed together, and a bowl of yellow flower petals lies nearby. Brass lamps, a small silver Ganesha figure, a brass pot, fruit and bananas are arranged on the floor-cloth in front of a large mound of marigolds and rose petals. A smaller framed image of a saffron-clad figure hangs on the wall above, and window bars are at left.

A photograph of a small room with a white-walled shrine. A large framed photograph of a seated figure in orange robes with a beaded necklace and long dark hair sits atop a white-draped table, garlanded with red and white flower strands and a red flower garland. In front of it stand two brass oil lamps (ritual lamps) wrapped with white flower strands, a row of fruits including mangoes, oranges and yellow lemons, bananas on the right, a pile of pink and red flower petals spelling letters, and leaf plates with offerings. The scene is a puja offering arrangement with no people visible. The framed image is a depiction and its visible cues are orange robes, long hair and a beaded necklace.

A photograph of a small indoor room with plain white walls. On a white-draped table with an orange cloth sit oil lamps, flower petals and a flower arrangement in front of a framed portrait garlanded with white flowers. The framed portrait shows a seated figure in orange robes with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala, in front of a tree. To the left, a bald priest in white dhoti and shawl with a sandalwood mark on his forehead and a rudraksha mala sits on the floor near the table. A wooden chair stands at right and a wall calendar hangs at top right.

A worship altar with a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" at its centre, showing a seated figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and red tilak, framed by a garland of yellow and white flowers with red blossoms. Two orange cloths hang on either side of the portrait. Below, brass plates hold flowers, offerings, a small brass lamp and a dish of fruit, while a pair of green sandals decorated with yellow and red flowers sits on the white cloth. A plate of bananas, apples and other fruit is at the right. No people are visible.

A photograph of a puja arrangement set up in a room with a plain white wall and speckled floor. A large framed portrait on the wall, decorated with a garland of white jasmine and pink and yellow flowers, shows a smiling figure in saffron-orange robes with a white flower necklace, hand raised in blessing, seated before a tree trunk; the portrait is printed, not a physical person. Below it on a low wooden stand draped with an orange cloth sits a black stone Shiva lingam-style object with a small trident, alongside a platter of sweets and a bowl of bananas, oranges and apples on a white cloth with a maroon runner. Brass vessels, a small brass lamp, a book, and trays of sweets and prasad complete the offering. No people are present.

A seated priest in orange ochre robes performs a homa at a flower-decorated altar on a white-tiled platform. He holds a metal ladle over a brass vessel near a stack of wooden sticks and a microphone stand. Behind the altar, a framed photograph shows a young man with long dark hair in orange robes, showing a raised hand, wearing garlands and a rudraksha-style necklace, set in a lush green-draped frame with yellow and red marigold garlands. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha, pineapples, fruit and marigold garlands surround the fire ritual. A tall bamboo pole with an orange cloth hangs on the left.
