A seated priest in orange garments and an orange head wrap sits behind a raised square fire pit with a flame, with brass oil lamps and a small offering plate beside it. A seated person in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap sits cross-legged behind a yellow-tiled square fire pit (homa kunda) with a lit flame. Before the fire, a metal tray holds offerings, and tied bundles of sticks and white and yellow garlands are arranged on striped cloths. A small deity murti decorated with yellow marigold garlands and a gold arch sits at left. Brass lamps, a kalasha-type pot, bowls of grains and fruit, and folded white cloths surround the setup. The person's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm an identity, so the role is described only as a ritual officiant.2019-01-20October 01 20172017-10-01April 16 20172017-04-16Night outdoor homa on grass: a seated priest in orange-red robes, orange turban, rudraksha mala and gold necklaces, marks painted on his arms, feeds offerings into a fire built inside a stacked yellow brick fire pit.
