Behind him, several deity murtis are dressed in heavy garlands of red, yellow, purple and orange flowers, with gold-framed thrones and a magenta cloth backdrop. The central murti wears a gold crown, green and pink silk, and jewellery. A devotee-style figure at the right edge wears a green checked skirt and gold ornaments. The scene shows a puja offering before the deities.2018-04-27 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple shrine decorated with deity murtis seated on golden thrones draped in layered garlands of red, orange, yellow, purple and white flowers. Two metal murtis on the right wear gold crowns and ornate gold jewellery; another murti further left wears a crown and rich garments. A standing priest in a rust-red dhoti and gold-bordered cloth, his back to the camera, raises one hand in a blessing or gesture near the murtis. Deep red velvet drapes and a gold-framed arch form the backdrop. Murtis are not people; the only physical person is the priest.2015-01-09December 05 20142014-12-05November 27 20172017-11-27A photograph of a ceremonial moment in front of a deity murti seated on a gold ornate throne with a red velvet curtain behind. The murti wears a large gold crown, a jeweled and embroidered orange-and-white garment, and is garlanded with thick bands of red, yellow and white flowers. On the left, a standing man in an orange-brown turban and a red flower garland, bare-shouldered with gold armlets and a gold-trimmed brown dhoti, holds a white ceremonial staff and raises his open palm toward the murti. The visible cues are a turban, red garland, gold armlets and ritual staff; the figure's identity is not established by the image. Gold bangles and a green-and-red silk drape complete the scene.2015-04-28June 10 20172017-06-10Photograph of a puja at a temple-style stage before a golden arch and a deity murti pair draped in multicolour garlands of marigold, purple and white flowers and red-and-white dotted cloth. The central figures wear silver jewellery, crowns and green-and-gold silk. In the foreground, two priests in saffron-orange cloths and rudraksha malas face the deities, one raising an arm in offering. A figure in a dark head covering sits at lower left. Oil lamps and offerings sit on the platform, with a starry backdrop behind.2018-04-25 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremony in front of a large golden-framed backdrop covered with garlands of yellow, white, red and purple flowers arranged around a gilded deity murti crowned with a tall ornate crown. A seated man in orange-red robes, with a rudraksha mala, a ceremonial gold pendant, a tilak and long dark hair, sits on a throne flanked by silver lion figures. A bare-chested assistant in an orange wrap bends forward and touches his shoulder, while a white-clad priest with a shaved head also leans in at the throne. Golden figures stand at the right edge and a red curtain frames the scene. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas, an orange-red robe and ceremonial gold ornaments, appearing in person as the central figure receiving blessings.2017-11-26November 24 20172017-11-24November 28 20172017-11-28
