Night photograph at a temple courtyard lit with string lights, where a bearded man with long swept-back hair, wearing a rust-red dhoti and shawl, a white floral garland with red flowers, gold bangles and a white forehead mark, stands with palms pressed together and face lifted in devotion beside a stone platform. Behind him, a crowd of devotees watches, including a man in an orange robe with rudraksha beads, a person in an orange sari with a brass pot, and men in green shirts; several in the crowd photograph with cameras and phones. A brightly lit gopuram-style structure and scaffolding frame the background. Aside from the face-up devotee, the image shows temple worship at night.

A dense nighttime crowd fills a temple street lit by strings of yellow and red lights along the walls and an illuminated gateway ahead. Police officers in khaki uniforms and caps move through the crowd. In the centre, a bare-chested figure with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron cloth and a strand of beads, with possible rudraksha-style adornments, and appears to be a sannyasi or devotee; the appearance is only partly visible in the crowd. Many men in white shirts and dhotis are visible around him. The scene is part of the Karthikai Deepam festival at Tiruvannamalai temple.

Night photograph at a temple with a crowd. A man in a rust-red dhoti and shawl, with a long dark beard, long hair swept back and a white garland of jasmine and pink flowers around his neck, stands with palms pressed together and face lifted upward toward the temple tower. Gold bangles are on his arms. Beside him an attendant in an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha-style mala holds a brass kalasha vessel. Behind them devotees in white, green and orange clothes stand, some holding mobile phones, and a photographer with a DSLR camera leans over a stone structure in the foreground. Strings of green, red and white lights decorate the temple walls, and a pale stone platform with carved edges is at the left.

A woman in an orange wrap and orange turban stands at right, in an orange sleeveless top, holding a long rudraksha mala and placing it over the head of a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who has his hands pressed together in greeting. Behind them a man in orange robes stands near a table with microphone and bundles of rudraksha malas. Several women and men in white shirts, one with a yellow shawl, and women in orange and red saris with flower garlands in their hair gather around. Devotees receive darshan in a crowded outdoor satsang setting.

Night procession scene in a crowded street with a stone temple wall at left. A central man with a full black beard and long dark hair wears a rust-brown robe, a thick brown rope-like shawl, and a large fresh garland of green leaves, white flowers and pink blossoms; he has a white vertical tilak on his forehead and a red dot. He is smiling and reaching toward a white bowl holding pink flowers, while a man in a white shirt at left extends his hands. Around him, several young men wear saffron-orange cloths, gold beaded necklaces and rudraksha malas, with white and red forehead markings. Swamiji (probable) cues: long dark hair, distinctive rope shawl and garland, and ceremonial saffron-clad attendants around him.
