Outdoor photo of a burial-site rite at a small village shrine area with dry red earth. In the foreground a fresh mound of earth is covered with marigold petals and yellow flowers, with a yellow-flower garland on a stone marker at right. A shirtless man in a white dhoti pours or offers from a bowl, with smoke rising, while an elderly man in white dhoti and shirt stands with hands folded. Behind them a row of saffron-robed sannyasis with rudraksha malas and marigold garlands stand with hands folded; one bearded man in brown-maroon robes joins them. Several men in white dhotis and shirts and a man in a blue-striped shirt stand with hands pressed in prayer. A small child in blue shorts stands at left. Red, orange and blue ceremonial umbrellas are held above, and a small stone structure sits in the background under a tree.

Outdoors on bare red earth, a shirtless man in a white dhoti pours offerings over a mound of soil covered in marigold petals, coloured powder and a small flame. Around him stand a group of saffron-robed sannyasis, several holding ornate multicoloured umbrellas on poles. A bearded man in a long brown robe with hands joined in prayer stands centre-left, beside a small child in a green shirt and patterned shorts also with hands folded. On the right, men in white dhotis and shirts and a man in a blue striped shirt watch with hands joined. Palm trees and a stone shrine structure appear in the background.

Outdoor ritual at a red-earth site with a small stone shrine and a leafy tree behind it. A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti, with a sacred mark on his forehead, stands at a freshly mounded earth altar covered with marigold and mixed flower garlands, yellow and red powder and scattered petals, holding a small tray or ritual item in both hands in a folded, offering gesture. Beside him another priest in a white dhoti and pink shirt stands with hands folded. Behind them a row of men in everyday clothes, including checked lungis, a green shirt and a dark kurta, stand with hands folded or raised in namaskar near a wire fence. Wooden posts and a dry open field stretch into the background under a pale sky.

Outdoor ritual at a dusty clearing beside a tree and small stone structure. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti holds a flame over a freshly heaped mound of red earth decorated with marigold garlands and a yellow-stained patch. Around him, a line of men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas and a man in a long brown robe stand with hands folded. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand at the edge with palms pressed together, and a young boy in a patterned shirt joins hands in prayer. Ornate red, orange and blue parasols are held overhead, and a trident-topped staff is visible at left. The scene appears to be a memorial or puja at a grave-like mound.

A bare-chested priest in white dhoti holds a lit flame plate and offering, with smoke rising. A central figure with long dark hair and a dark brown robe presses his palms together in prayer. Men in white shirts and dhotis stand with folded hands, and a small boy in a yellow shirt and blue shorts joins in prayer. Dry grass, bare trees and a fence form the setting.

Several people walk barefoot along a sandy path through a garden of green shrubs and trees. Three in front wear saffron-orange robes: the central figure has a rudraksha mala around his neck and clasps his hands, and the figure on the right is draped in orange cloth. Behind them, a man in a pale yellow shirt and grey trousers walks with his hands folded. Further back, people in white clothes walk along the path. A small pink-roofed pavilion with carved stone pillars and a deity statue stands at the right. Blue sky and trees fill the background.
