May 31 20152015-05-31 +1 copiesA large seated audience fills a hall, with many people's heads and shoulders in dense rows. In the foreground a shaved-headed person in white with a rudraksha mala around the neck sits with their back to the camera. Several people in the crowd raise their hands, and a figure in orange-red clothing stands at the far left edge. A framed sign on the back wall reads Samarthha Pujya, and walls are pale pink. The people are mostly in white, cream and red-brown garments.2015-09-06July 01 20092009-07-01December 02 20102010-12-02September 13 20092009-09-13 +1 copiesMay 09th 20162016-05-09December 12 20162016-12-12 +1 copiesA photograph of a large seated congregation dressed in white, viewed from behind. Many people raise both arms and place their hands on the crown of their heads, a tharpanam-style offering gesture. Several men have shaved or short hair, one woman has her hair tied back, and a man at the centre wears a black rudraksha-style mala on his wrist and a gold bangle. Red-cushioned chairs are visible at the edges, and a bare-armed figure with a wristwatch is in the lower foreground. The setting appears to be an indoor hall.2009-07-01February 22 20162016-02-22August 27 20062006-08-27Close side-profile photograph of a shaven-headed man with eyes lowered and head bowed, a hand resting on the crown of his head in a blessing gesture. He wears a white collared shirt under a dark knit sweater. The background is warm orange and red with a pale wall panel. The hand belongs to a second person whose arm enters from the right. No garlands, crown, saffron robes or rudraksha are visible, so there are no a person appearance cues.2010-09-03May 09th 20162016-05-09
