Outdoor ritual at dusk under a canopy. A seated figure on an ornate gold throne wears a maroon-and-red turban, a red-and-white flower garland, a gold chest ornament and a dark maroon garment. Beside him stands a bald priest in a saffron-orange dhoti holding a long staff, and at the right a priest in a white head covering and saffron-orange garments with rudraksha malas holds a lit oil lamp in a brass tray. Seated devotees in orange and saffron sit behind them, with a row of lit oil lamps on the floor at right and a deity shrine visible in the background.2015-11-25A man in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala and a white tilak sits on an ornate gold throne carved with a lion-head armrest, speaking to a group. A man in a red-orange turban, red robe and garland of white and red flowers sits with palms pressed together on a gold ornate throne beneath a thatched umbrella. Nearby, a woman in a red sari with a rudraksha-style necklace gestures toward a table draped in white cloth holding a lit oil lamp, silver bowls with offerings and a green leaf arrangement. Another robed attendant in red stands behind, and a garlanded pillar of yellow, white and red flowers rises at left. Red stone temple structure with small lamps at right. Consistent with a ritual puja setting; no clear visual cues confirm the seated figure's identity.2015-11-25A seated man in saffron-orange robes, a white flower garland and a gold-beaded chain sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne behind a fire pit where flames rise from a wooden structure decorated with flowers. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a blue border and a pink-turbaned priest in white with a gold-bordered cloth pour from a silver vessel and hold a ceremonial object near the fire. Behind them, several people in white dhotis, orange garments and saffron-and-red saris stand, some wearing rudraksha malas. The setting appears to be an outdoor courtyard with green mats and a fan at left. The seated figure has long hair and a shawl, which are appearance cues only, so identity remains uncertain.2016-07-03A photograph of a homa at an outdoor ashram pavilion. A man with short dark hair and a black head wrap sits on a gold and red throne decorated with yellow and white garlands, hands folded in greeting, wearing a red-brown garment and a gold chain. Several people in orange robes and orange turbans stand around a fire pit with flames, one pouring offerings toward it. A standing figure in a maroon shawl and a white-clad man holding a camera are nearby. Colourful striped cloth canopy hangs above the throne, with flower petals and marigold garlands on the floor.2017-08-25November 11 20142014-11-11April 28 20152015-04-28November 17 20132013-11-17 +1 copiesJanuary 06 20182018-01-06Outdoor ritual at dusk beside a large bronze bowl heaped with red and yellow flower garlands and a tall flame rising from it.
