Only the two people visible in the frame are counted.2010-11-14A close photograph of a man in white ceremonial clothing with a white shawl draped over his shoulder and a long gold bead necklace of large ornate beads, with a small red tilak on his forehead. He is seated and holding the bare foot of another person, who is also in white, with his hand. Blurred gold ritual objects and a red cushion appear in the background.2010-11-14Close photograph of a seated man in white ritual clothing and a long gold bead necklace having his bare foot massaged by a bare-chested young attendant in the lower left, while a second person's hands hold the foot from below. Gold-toned ceremonial fabric and a red cushion sit behind. The seated man's face is cropped out; the mood is one of devotional foot service. Attribution of the seated man is not established from appearance, so the role is given as a seated devotee receiving padapuja-style foot care.2010-11-14November 14 20102010-11-14Close-up photo of a padapuja-style foot worship: a devotee's hands, one wearing a silver ring, cradle and touch a bare foot of a seated person dressed in orange and maroon, while a standing person in white clothes stands beside them against a golden cloth backdrop. Only partial limbs and clothing are visible; no face is shown.2010-11-14November 14 20102010-11-14May 24 20162016-05-24November 14 20102010-11-14Close-up photo of a padapuja ritual: a man in orange-saffron dhoti with white border and red sacred thread on his wrist kneels and washes or anoints the bare foot of a seated person draped in a rust-red garment with gold border. He holds a red-cloth-wrapped object and wears a silver wristwatch and rings. Fresh white and red flower petals lie on a red cushion with gold trim. Only the feet, hands and garments are visible, so no face or identity can be determined; the seated person's role is not shown.2015-09-05Close-up photograph of a pada puja in progress: a person in a white shirt and a beaded rudraksha bracelet dries a bare foot with an orange cloth. The foot belongs to a figure in orange saffron robes seated on an ornate gold-embossed throne with floral carved scrollwork. Only the feet, orange robe and the attendant's hands and forearms are visible. The orange cloth and robe contrast with the gold throne.2010-08-26Close view of a padapuja ritual: a seated figure in orange-red robes has bare feet extended onto a stone or metal basin, and an adult's hand, adorned with gold bangles, is washing or touching the feet while holding a folded white cloth or paper. A white garland of jasmine flowers with pink blossoms lies across the robes. Behind, a tiger-striped orange cloth and gold-toned ornamental objects are visible. A child in white dhoti is partly visible at the lower left edge. Right edge shows a person in white clothing. Feet and hands are the central focus, with a photo credit overlay on the lower right.2016-05-24
