In the centre, a woman in an orange sari stands smiling beside the racks, and behind her an elderly man with white hair and a white beard, bare-chested with a white dhoti and a sacred thread, stands near a second woman in a pale grey sari photographing the displays. On the left, a life-size seated statue in orange robes and an orange head wrap holds an open blue book. Strings of tinsel and a garland of white flowers hang near the statue. The red floor and the orange clothing dominate the scene. The woman in orange is not clearly identifiable as a specific individual from appearance cues alone.2006-07-25A photo inside a bookshop-style gallery with white block walls and tiered glass display shelves holding books and CDs with portrait covers. Shelves on the left hold folded white and cream cloth bundles, and on the right are racks of white and light garments and rows of bottled products. Framed portraits of a woman in saffron robes hang on the back wall above a shelf of small carved deity figurines and brass statues. One man in orange with a long beaded necklace stands at the left edge, and another in orange with a beaded necklace stands in the center facing the group. On the right, a person in an orange-saffron robe with a long rudraksha mala stands and looks toward two visitors at left: an older person with grey hair in a white garment and a woman with dark hair in a white top with a shoulder bag, seen from behind.
