On the right, a figure with long dark hair wearing an orange-saffron robe and wrapped shawl walks with a long wooden walking stick; the figure's appearance has some candidate cues but is not distinctive enough to confirm. To the left, five people in white kurtas or dhotis with orange-saffron shawls walk together, one of them carrying a folded umbrella. Behind them stand a grey concrete block wall, bushes, palm and leafy trees, and buildings on a hillside under a hazy sky.2006-09-21A photograph of a group of about 40 people gathered on a dusty, bare hilltop under a partly cloudy sky. Most wear white clothing and some wear white dhotis and saris; one figure in the centre wears orange or saffron. A tall flagpole flies a saffron-orange flag, with a smaller orange flag beside it, and a small structure sits on a distant wooded hill. Simple houses, palm trees and scrubby vegetation surround the hill, and scattered litter lies on the ground in the foreground.2007-03-03A dirt road runs through a rural compound toward a green, rocky hill under a bright sky. On the left, a row of small thatched-roofed shrine-style structures with orange flags stands behind a wooden fence. A group of four walks along the road: two people in saffron-orange robes at the centre, one holding a large orange umbrella, plus a person in orange beside them, and three men in white dhotis and shirts, one wearing a rudraksha mala. Trees line the right side and a solar-style street lamp stands at the edge of the road.2008-10-19March 03 20072007-03-03A photograph of a dry, overgrown hillside with scrubby green bushes, bare brown grass and a low dark stone wall in the foreground. A lone man stands on the slope at right, wearing a long white kurta and white dhoti, with dark hair and a beard. Behind him, at the top of the rise, a small group of about five people stands near a utility pole, including one figure in saffron-orange robes.A photograph of a barefoot figure in a saffron-orange shawl and dhoti, with long dark swept-back hair and a wooden walking staff, climbing a dirt path strewn with boulders. Beside him an older man in white shirt and white dhoti with orange borders wears a rudraksha-style mala and a wristwatch, while another white-clad attendant walks behind. Green shrubs and a white building with stairs and steps sit on the hillside above, with a few small figures near the structure. The saffron-clad figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), identified by long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a walking staff, and is shown in person climbing the hill.2006-09-23A photograph of a dirt road lined with a wire fence and scrubby trees under a pale sky. In the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe walks with a bright orange umbrella held over them by a woman in white. Beside them another figure in orange carries a dark umbrella. Around them several people in white clothes walk or stand, some with a yellow sash; one older man in white stands on the left and a man in white on the right holds a small item. Two signboards stand at the left edge of the road. The road is unpaved and red-brown.2009-08-08Outdoor photo on a dusty dirt path at dusk, with low hills, a palm tree, a utility pole and a tree with small blue-and-white flags behind. A man in an orange-saffron robe with long dark hair and a walking stick smiles and walks at the centre; appearance-based cues of long hair and saffron robe suggest a person, though this is uncertain. He is flanked by several men in white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, and a woman in a grey-white outfit walks at left. Some men wear rudraksha-style beads or lanyards around their necks. Three other white-clad people are at the left edge.2007-02-15
