Night photograph of an outdoor stage under a white canopy lit by spotlights, with a large painted backdrop of a snow-capped mountain beneath blue and orange sky. Several people in white clothes and saffron or orange garments stand on the stage near the mountain painting, while a dense crowd of devotees stands in the foreground, including a man in a white checked shirt at right. A rope barrier separates the crowd from the stage area. No individual on stage can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so the stage figures are described by role only.
