September 23 20062006-09-23September 23 20062006-09-23Photograph taken inside a temple sanctum at night, with gold-coloured deity murti and a red cloth backdrop behind. In the foreground, a figure with long, dark, tousled hair and bare back, wrapped in an orange saffron cloth, stands with both hands on the hips, seen from behind. Beside him, a man in a white shirt and spectacles stands and looks toward the gold murti; he appears to be a devotee or temple attendant. Gold ornate carved architecture frames the scene, with a gold hand of a deity visible at left. Another person is partially visible at the right edge in shadow.2006-09-23A photograph taken at night inside a temple shrine lit by a single overhead lamp. In the centre, a man with long, dark, wavy hair seen from behind wears an orange saffron wrap over bare shoulders and back, his hands clasped at his waist. He faces a gilded metal deity murti with a tall crown, a white turban-like cloth, and a sword or staff held at its side, set before a red cloth backdrop with gold-painted columns. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti bends forward toward the murti on the left, and a man in a white-and-grey checked shirt stands at the right edge, with another figure partly visible behind. Presence of a person is indicated by the long hair and saffron wrap, but the figure is seen only from behind so identity remains uncertain.2006-09-23June 17 20052005-06-17January 17 20082008-01-17May 09 20122012-05-09 +1 copiesSeptember 23 20062006-09-23 +1 copiesMay 21 20122012-05-21Inside a dim stone shrine, a bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a yellow-and-red patterned waist cloth stands with his back to the camera, reaching toward a deity murti or altar niche framed by blue-painted pillars. A brass-covered platform holds garlanded offerings and a green-and-white cloth. On the left, a man with a shaved head wears a red garment and a white bead mala and bangles. Another attendant is partly visible on the right. A brass oil lamp sits at the lower right of the altar.2012-05-18September 23 20062006-09-23 +1 copiesJanuary 17 20082008-01-17
