January 09 20182018-01-09A photograph of a stage event with a seated man on an ornate silver throne (peetha) framed by a large arch of flower garlands in yellow, white, purple, red and green stripes, with peacock-feather decorations at the top corners. The seated figure wears a golden crown, a long red-and-white flower garland, and a gold-and-red ceremonial garment, with a rudraksha-style necklace visible, and holds a small object in one hand. In front, a crowd of devotees sits on the floor, mostly in white clothing, with several women's hair in buns and braids; one woman in a pale top leans forward with a hand extended. Two women in teal and red saris sit at the right edge, and a backdrop shows warm orange bokeh lights. Ritual satsang with the peetha setting suggests a public discourse.2018-01-09A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate silver throne framed by an arch of red, white, yellow and purple flower garlands, with a glowing amber backdrop. The seated man wears a saffron-gold crown, a dark red-brown wrap, a long red-and-white garland and a gold ceremonial necklace, with a rudraksha-style mala. He wears a red beaded mala and a gold necklace and holds his hands together while speaking. A gold trident stands to his right. Around the low dais, a seated crowd of devotees in white and cream traditional dress, many women with hair in braids or buns, sits with brass plates of offerings (naivedyam) and flowers. Gold-painted pillars and colourful painted deity figures frame the hall. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central seated figure, a candidate identified from his red robe, red turban and ornate gold necklace, shown in the role of the presiding guru on the throne.2015-07-31December 06 20162016-12-06December 23 20162016-12-23January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13A seated man on an ornate golden throne is decorated with white and orange flower garlands and a gold necklace, with a gold crown on his head and a bare chest; behind him hang long strings of white and yellow marigold garlands from a red-roofed canopy. A man seated on an ornate golden throne with a crown above and a garland of yellow and red flowers behind him wears a red-orange robe, a red-orange turban and a rudraksha mala. A row of devotees in white and cream clothes sit on the floor facing him, several with hair in braids or buns, and a few wearing red or orange shawls. Gold lion and deity sculptures flank the throne, with a trident leaning on the right. Attendants in white stand at the back left. Swamiji (probable): the seated man in red-orange robes wears a turban, a rudraksha mala and a ceremonial necklace, which are cues for the page's claim, so the figure is treated as a probable candidate in person.2015-07-31January 13 20152015-01-13July 31 20152015-07-31
