In the centre stands a tall red-and-brown wooden column wrapped with a marigold garland, set on a red stepped plinth, with a bronze nandi-like bull figure at its base wearing a garland. Orange triangular pennants hang from a line above, and red metal arches frame the view. A man in a white shirt and light trousers walks along a paved path past a small table with red-trimmed chairs. Dark stone statues stand on the left, and freshly raked red earth is decorated with white flower-shaped stones in a circular pattern.2010-12-31December 11 20092009-12-11A photograph of an outdoor paving project at an ashram ground. Hexagonal white interlocking paving stones with a few pink stones are being laid over sandy earth in a curving path. A blue and yellow baby stroller stands at the left edge beside stone blocks, a small young tree grows behind red brick posts, and a red and white kolam floor design is visible in the upper right. No people are visible in the scene.2009-12-11April 12 20132013-04-12 +1 copiesNovember 06 20102010-11-06October 26 20162016-10-26 +1 copiesNovember 15 20102010-11-15August 27 20162016-08-27July 08 20102010-07-08Outdoor ashram scene under coconut palms: a crowd of devotees in white clothes stands in rows on a paved courtyard with kolam floor designs, hands folded in namaskar. On the left, a white stone shrine structure holds a small deity murti garlanded in orange and red with a red cloth, and a tall palm-trunk pillar stands behind it. Two men in orange robes stand near the centre, and several young boys in white and yellow dhotis or kurtas stand among the group. A cameraman films from the right beside a few men in white and cream shirts. A raised white platform with red and white striped edging sits in the foreground, with a dark brown slab on top and potted plants at the lower right. Small white and tin-roofed buildings stand behind the courtyard.2010-07-04
