A photograph in a bare hall with straw mats and blue-edged borders on a grey floor. A seated figure in an orange robe with long dark hair, orange cloth draped over the body, sits on a white-covered chair with a maroon rug at its feet. A devotee in white clothes with a yellow shawl kneels and bows with forehead to the rug. A standing woman in white with a yellow shawl watches, hands folded. Behind them, people in white and orange clothing stand near a video camera on a tripod. A white wall and a dark bag complete the setting.2008-09-30September 30 20082008-09-30A seated figure in an orange saffron robe with long dark hair sits on a white-covered cushioned seat with an orange cloth draped over it. A person in an orange and pink robe lies prostrate face down on a striped mat in front of the seat, with hands extended and forehead touching a red patterned rug. Three standing men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand behind, one holding a yellow cloth. A white wall forms the backdrop.2008-09-30A photograph of a seated figure in long flowing orange robes with long dark hair, sitting on a white-draped cushioned seat with a white pillow, on a red floral rug over woven mats. A man in white dhoti and cream shawl kneels and bows with his forehead touching the seated person's feet in a reverential gesture. Behind them, standing figures wear orange and white robes, one with a yellow shawl, and another in white dhoti holds a mala of beads. The setting is a plain white-walled hall.2008-09-30August 11 20092009-08-11A seated figure in long flowing saffron-orange robes with long dark swept hair sits on a white-draped low seat with an orange cushion, holding a rudraksha mala and gesturing with an open hand toward a man in a white kurta prostrating face-down on a red patterned rug. Behind them, several men in orange dhotis and shawls stand on a woven mat against a white wall, one holding a mala. A deity-style red floor mat with a mandala-like design lies under the seat. The scene suggests a devotee offering obeisance (padapuja-style prostration) before a respected guru, with the seated figure's appearance matching the probable Swamiji cues of long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a mala.2008-09-30A photograph of a seated figure in an orange robe with long dark hair, resting on a white-covered cushioned seat with an orange cloth draped over it, hands in a mudra-like gesture. A devotee in white dhoti and orange-bordered shawl lies prostrate on the floor with forehead touching a red patterned rug, while a standing attendant in white with an orange sash stands on woven mats at right, and another person in white with a yellow sash is partly visible at top left. The white walls and woven mats suggest an ashram hall. Identity of the seated figure is not established from appearance alone; a sannyasi in orange with long hair seated on a throne-like seat during a prostration.2008-09-30September 30 20082008-09-30A seated figure in orange robes with long, dark, wavy hair sits on a white-covered cushioned seat on a red patterned rug over a woven mat. A kneeling man in a white shirt and white dhoti, with grey hair and glasses, presses his palms together while the seated figure holds a rudraksha mala toward his forehead. A standing attendant in orange robes holding a mala stands at the left edge, and another person in white dhoti stands at the right edge. The setting is a plain white-walled hall. The seated figure's appearance matches the Swamiji description with long hair and orange clothing, so this is a probable identification.2008-09-30A photograph of an indoor devotional greeting on a red patterned rug. A person in orange robes and an orange turban sits on a white-covered chair with a white cushion, wearing a white flower garland, and rests both hands on the head of a man in white shirt and white trousers who prostrates full length on the floor. Three women in white sarees with gold borders stand in a row behind them, and a man in a yellow shirt and dark trousers stands at the right edge. A cushioned wooden bench with red upholstery stands against the white wall.2007-08-17A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair sits on a white-draped cushioned seat on a red patterned rug, gesturing with one hand toward a devotee who lies prostrate in full-length obeisance on the mat in white clothes with an orange sash. Behind them, three standing men in orange robes and one in white stand on a woven mat before a plain white wall, a rudraksha mala visible on one standing man. The scene suggests a formal darshan or pada-namaskar in an ashram hall.2008-09-30September 30 20082008-09-30
