December 28 20082008-12-28December 27 20082008-12-27A large seated audience of men, women and children in white and cream clothing fills the floor of a tented hall, with many women in white saris bordered in orange and some in green, yellow and red. In the foreground a woman in a green sari sits cross-legged among the crowd. On the far stage, beneath a maroon curtain trimmed in gold, a row of musicians in white kurtas plays instruments, including a drum and stringed instruments, flanked by potted plants. Standing figures in white and orange near the decorated side booths suggest ritual activity. Colourful painted vertical pillars and a tent canopy frame the scene. +1 copiesDecember 28 20082008-12-28October 09 20082008-10-09December 28 20082008-12-28December 25 20082008-12-25A wide indoor photo of a hall with a stage and draped festoons in red, white and gold.
