A tall bamboo-style pole with a saffron-orange flag stands on a sandy mound in the foreground. On the hilltop sit a small whitewashed building and a telecom tower. Below, low houses, trees and utility wires line the lane, and two or three small figures in light clothing stand near the flagpole and at the right edge.2007-03-03A photograph of a dry, scrubby hillside with dense green shrubs and trees, topped by a white building with a flat roof and a terrace wall along its slope. In the foreground, a dry patch of ground holds a low white-walled building and rows of white-painted wooden stakes or posts with cross braces, set among small rocks and bushes. Overcast grey clouds fill the sky and a few utility wires cross above. No people are visible. The scene appears to be a rural landscape near a hill.2006-10-09July 08 20122012-07-08October 23 20062006-10-23October 22 20062006-10-22A large bare granite hill with rounded weathered rock faces rises behind a small South Indian temple whose tiered gopuram tower is painted in colourful sculpted tiers and white and pink walls.
