A barefoot attendant in a saffron-orange dhoti and matching shawl, with a red turban and rudraksha mala, stands holding a brass plate. A priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, seen from behind with bare upper back, performs worship before a dark stone deity murti adorned with white flower garlands and red blossoms, wearing a tall green-and-white crown. He holds a silver tray of red flowers and offerings toward the image. Flanking the shrine are two gilded standing female attendant figures holding lamps, and an ornate golden arch frames the deity against a red cloth backdrop with a latticed gold screen behind. Brass lamp stands and a dark maroon curtain sit at the left edge.

A seated man in white clothes sits cross-legged with palms pressed together in namaste before a shrine. Behind him stands a dark-faced deity murti with a tall white crown, layered gold and red necklaces, and a red-and-gold garment, framed by a red and white flower garland and a gilt arch. Brass oil lamps flank the shrine, a small red-clad figure sits at the base, and a tray holds fruit, bananas, flowers and a brass vessel. The man has long dark hair and no visible saffron or crown cues, so his identity is uncertain.

The murti wears a gold crown, a silver-and-gold necklace, a sacred thread, and holds a golden staff and a gold ornament, with a garland of red, yellow, orange and white flowers draped across it. In the foreground, a person in a white dhoti and shawl with dark hair is bent forward, facing the murti. Beside them stands a man in an orange-saffron robe with long dark hair and a red tilak, his hand near the murti. A brass oil lamp with a bird-shaped finial stands on the right, next to a vase of orange and pink flowers.

A large dark deity murti stands in the centre, decorated with gold crown, jewelled ornaments, and a green backdrop with a red cloth. Golden dvarapala figures holding lamps flank the entrance, and a golden trishul stands at right. A young attendant in orange robes, orange turban, and rudraksha mala stands holding a brass vessel near the shrine. In the foreground a man in white clothing kneels on red mats before offerings in brass plates. Scene suggests puja at the shrine.

A temple shrine with a seated golden deity murti draped in a red and yellow silk garment, decorated with multicoloured flower garlands and a crown, holding a staff. Beside it, a standing statue of a bare-chested figure with long dark hair, a leopard-print cloth, rudraksha mala and gold ornaments, stands in a gold-framed niche with a green backdrop and garlands. A woman in a rust-brown sari with a rudraksha mala performs an aarti or puja with a lamp near the murti. Two saffron-robed men sit at the left, one with a rudraksha mala, with brass oil lamps, flower petals and offering plates on the floor. A tall brass oil lamp stands in the foreground beside a gold-decorated peetha with a white cloth.

Photograph of a golden temple sanctum during a ritual before a richly decorated deity murti of Meenakshi seated on a gilded throne with a crown, sceptre-like staff and elaborate yellow and gold garments, garlanded with marigolds and pink flowers. A bearded man with long dark hair, a red tilak, rudraksha and gold malas, and a pink flower garland sits smiling at left, holding a small metal vessel and lamp as an attendant in white reaches toward him. Two attendants in saffron-orange robes stand at right, one holding a silver staff, with white ash marks on their arms. Ornate gold carved panels surround the scene.

A photograph inside a richly decorated red-draped shrine. A man with long dark hair swept up under a green-accented headdress, wearing a gold-beaded necklace, gold armlets, a bare upper body and a rust-red dhoti-style garment, extends his right hand over a brass oil lamp toward a seated deity murti. The murti sits on an ornate gold throne, dressed in an orange and gold garment with a silver-embroidered mantle, decorated with pink flower petals and a garland, and wears a crown. Flames rise from a brass bowl of offerings in the foreground, and additional tall brass lamps stand on the red carpet. The scene suggests a puja or pada puja ritual. The man is the only physical person visible.

A shaved-headed priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and wrap stands with his back to the camera in a temple shrine, raising his right hand toward a gilded standing figure of a sage with raised palm. Beside him, a large deity murti of a standing goddess with a crown and gold ornaments is decorated with flower garlands in yellow, orange, purple and white, and a gold arch frames the figure. The floor is scattered with petals, and a small copper-gold pyramid stands in front of the murti. Brass vessels sit at the left under a rudraksha mala hanging from the doorway. The scene is a temple puja setting; no a person candidate is clearly identifiable by appearance.

A photograph of a deity murti of Meenakshi Devi, richly dressed in gold and yellow silk with jeweled ornaments, a tall gold crown and a green-and-gold scepter, seated before a gilded backdrop. Flower garlands in yellow and red surround the figure. Two young men in orange dhotis and sacred white markings on their bodies attend it; one kneels at left holding a lamp toward the murti, while another at center holds a lit oil lamp and a third person, partly visible at right, stands with hands folded. The scene suggests a ritual lamp offering at a coronation-style puja.

Photograph of a temple shrine during a lamp offering. A standing devotee in orange robes, bare-shouldered with white sacred ash marks, bows and extends a silver lamp toward a seated figure. The seated man wears a red-orange turban, red-orange shawl and a rudraksha mala, and has his palms pressed together in namaste; the visibility of his face and the cues here are not enough for a confident appearance-based identification. Behind them stand a golden deity murti with raised hands and a decorated golden arch, a garlanded image with yellow and red flower garlands, and a silver lion figure on a leopard-print seat. Brass oil lamps are lit in the foreground.
