A seated man in a rust-red turban and rust-orange robes, wearing rudraksha malas and a gold-beaded necklace, raises a bunch of green leaves with one hand while smiling. Beside him, a younger attendant with long dreadlocked hair, white horizontal body markings, orange wrap and gold necklace holds a white cloth-wrapped kalasha decorated with purple and gold embroidery. Behind them stand a silver trident and a silver ceremonial staff, a red curtain and a large silver throne with a cobra-hood backrest set with red jewels. A small plate of offerings sits between them. Swamiji (probable): the seated turbaned figure, identified by his turban, rudraksha malas and ornate ceremonial robes on a throne.2018-03-09February 25 20182018-02-25September 24 20172017-09-24 +2 copiesFebruary 25 20182018-02-25September 24 20172017-09-24 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial initiation in progress. A seated man in a dark turban, rudraksha mala and red-orange robe sits closed-eyed before an ornate gold throne backrest, holding a small vessel of water with a green leaf. Beside him stands a younger man in orange cloth with white body markings, layered beaded necklaces and a dreadlocked topknot, holding a white and blue cloth-wrapped kalasha offering. A stone pillar frames the left edge. The scene suggests a vishesha deeksha initiation, with the seated figure appearing to be the probable Swamiji (probable) given the turban, rudraksha mala, red-orange robe and throne cues, and the standing man a devotee receiving the ritual.2018-04-11 +1 copiesSeptember 24 20172017-09-24September 24 20172017-09-24October 15 20172017-10-15October 15 20172017-10-15August 25 20172017-08-25A photograph of a ceremony in a temple hall. A seated man in a rust-red robe, with a dark turban, a rudraksha mala across his chest, a red-brown vibhuti mark on his forehead and a beaded bracelet, sits on a gold ornate throne with a red cushion while a second man in an orange-saffron cloth with ornate gold-and-silver necklaces bends forward and holds a kalasha with a white and purple cloth and flowers. The seated man's hand rests on the kalasha. Gold carved panels form the backdrop. Seated figure is Swamiji (probable) by the turban, rudraksha mala and ceremonial throne setting.2018-03-12
