Several workers are active: one in a dark jacket and dark skirt bends over the ground, another in a red headcloth stands near the left, and a person in blue works at the far right. Flat stone slabs lie scattered on grass with yellow flowers in the foreground. Four men in work clothes grip a vertical white steel pole while a yellow mobile crane lifts a cable above them, and a worker stands atop the upper steel framework. Pale timber planks lie scattered across the stone floor. Behind them, red-brick buildings with a domed roof and tree-lined grounds stand under a pale evening sky. Behind him, workers in light clothing stand on wooden scaffolding and at the base of a grey block wall with lattice-patterned openings, with coconut palms and cloudy sky beyond. +1 copiesAn outdoor construction site at an ashram under a clear blue sky. A white steel roof truss frame spans the top of the scene over concrete block walls. Several workers in light clothing move around the site, some on scaffolding at left and right, others among piles of sand and gravel. A cement mixer sits in the centre, and a green-roofed building with red-orange walls stands at right. Small tent-like shade structures and a few trees complete the scene.2009-12-08 +1 copiesA construction site photographed through black steel frame bars. In the foreground, a freshly excavated trench of reddish-brown soil runs between a low concrete block wall with a corrugated sheet roof on the left and a mound of dug earth on the right. Two men walk along the trench: one in a red-brown wrap and a straw-coloured hat, the other in a white shirt and grey trousers, with a white cap. Behind them are scattered grey stone blocks, a large cut stone slab, a pale cylindrical pipe lying on the ground, and dense green trees and palms.2007-05-19A photograph of an open-sided, partly built pavilion with a long gabled corrugated roof supported by a steel truss frame and rows of concrete posts. A man in a checked shirt climbs a wooden ladder to work on the roof. On the ground below, several men in white shirts, dhotis and lungis stand or walk on bare earth, and a woman in a red top at the lower left carries a tray of soil or material on her head. Concrete block walls line the sides, with strings of red and multicolored flags hanging from the right. Palm trees appear beyond the structure. No one is identifiable as a person in the scene.2006-12-30A construction site at an ashram-style campus with a long orange-walled, single-storey building under a corrugated roof. Steel roof frames and angled steel supports stand in the foreground over bare red earth and concrete footings. Two workers in white dhotis and white shirts stand near a wooden work table with buckets, tools and cement blocks. A few other people and parked motorbikes are visible at the right, with palm trees behind and a water tank on the roof at left. No deity, ritual or a person depiction is visible.2013-07-16 +1 copies
