A seated figure in a saffron-red robe and long swept-back dark hair, with a tilak on the forehead and a rudraksha-style bead mala, leans forward to place both hands on the face of a smiling young man in a white kurta. The seated figure sits on an ornate gold-carved throne with a maroon cushion. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with a red-bordered lanyard watches, and to the right a woman in a white sari stands beside a figure in a red-and-white shawl. A silver trident stands beside them, and a gold peacock-feather fan and gold ornaments are at the left against a deep red velvet backdrop.
