A seated man in a green turban and bare chest performs a homa at a yellow stone fire pit. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace, a crystal pendant and a green and red cloth draped over his shoulder, with a white dhoti. Bright flames rise from the wood in the pit, which is decorated with pink petals and white powder. Around him are yellow marigold garlands, coconut halves, a brass oil lamp, a metal bowl and a basket. Behind him a second man in white dhoti stands beside gold-coloured ritual vessels. The appearance-based label is a person, seated and performing the fire ritual, with the qualifying cues of a gold necklace and a green turban and shawl.2016-03-27January 02 20162016-01-02 +1 copiesAugust 02 20172017-08-02A bearded man stands barefoot at a ceremonial ritual space, eyes closed, with both hands raised together above his head in prayer.
