Beside them a bald older man in a white shirt and white dhoti ties or adjusts the garland. In the foreground a man with grey hair and glasses in a white shirt bends forward with palms pressed together in namaste, and a woman with dark hair bows at the lower right. A seated woman in an orange sari with a white forehead marking and a rudraksha-style necklace is at the left edge, and a cameraman with a camera stands at the upper right. Several people are visible, roughly four to six.2013-04-03Inside a small room with pink walls, a woman in an orange-red sari with a dark bun places a garland of white jasmine and red flowers on a person's head. Around her, a crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis, saffron-robed sannyasis, a bald man in orange with rudraksha malas, and children gather closely. A shelf with framed pictures and a deity murti is visible behind them, and an orange-robed man with a tilak stands near the doorway. The scene reads as a garlanding welcome, a darshan reception.2014-07-02 +1 copiesNovember 07 20112011-11-07July 01 20142014-07-01A woman in a gold blouse and red sari stands close to a bare-chested man in white dhoti with a gold border, placing her hands on his chest while he receives a garland. The garlands are white jasmine strands mixed with pink-red flowers. The man has a white vibhuti/ash mark across his forehead and a dark rudraksha-style mala at his neck. A second man in white and a seated woman in purple appear in the background. The room has a corrugated roof, wall posters and a golden throne-like chair at the right edge.2013-03-07A man in a white short-sleeved shirt leans in from the left, reaching over the shoulders of a bare-chested man kneeling or bowing forward. The kneeling man wears a rudraksha-bead necklace and a white garland with pink and red flower strands draped across his back, with white sacred ash marks on his forearms and forehead. Behind them, a man with a shaved head and white tilak marks stands watching. Along the right, a line of people in white clothing stands in an open hall with a corrugated metal roof and a red carpeted aisle. The setting appears to be a temple-style hall with yellow walls and ceiling fans.2012-05-18A photograph of a man in a white shirt bending forward to touch the chest and head of a smiling young man in saffron-orange robes, wearing a beaded rudraksha headband, a large pink rose garland and a white jasmine garland, with white tilak markings on his forehead and arms. A smiling older man in a maroon shirt stands at left, and seated devotees in a hall with a corrugated roof are visible in the background. The saffron-robed man appears to be a sannyasi receiving a respectful greeting or blessing, consistent with a satsang setting.2012-05-18A photograph at an indoor ritual setting with a floral backdrop of red, yellow, purple and white garlands. A man in a white shirt bends forward and holds his hands over the head of a seated figure with long dark hair, wearing a brown-orange robe and layered garlands of white jasmine and red flowers, with gold bangles on the arm. Beside them a bald priest with a white tilak on his forehead, wearing an orange shawl and gold necklace, smiles. A brass lamp hangs at the top of the frame, and a bright yellow floral arrangement fills the right side. The seated figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2013-07-22September 11 20132013-09-11
