A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a long beaded necklace sits cross-legged on an orange-draped raised platform before temple gates, with a red patterned cushion on the steps. Crowds of devotees in white dhotis and shawls, some with red-orange wraps, sit on the stone ground facing him, several holding phones or bags. The pink temple wall and carved stone pillars frame the outdoor satsang or darshan. The figure's long hair and ornate necklace are visible; the page flags him as a person, but the appearance cues are limited, so identity is uncertain.2012-10-12October 12 20122012-10-12A photograph of a seated crowd of devotees in white dhotis and white clothes facing a raised platform in front of a pink-washed temple gateway with a grilled metal door and carved stone pillars. A figure in saffron-orange robes sits on a red-and-orange cushioned seat at the top of the steps, with a wooden bench and orange cloth on the platform. Many devotees in front sit on a long orange mat, several with rudraksha malas in their hands. Palm trees and carved stone sculptures appear at the top edges of the temple walls. The setting appears to be an outdoor temple courtyard.2012-10-12 +1 copiesOutdoor satsang on an orange cloth-covered mat under a corrugated roof, with palm trees and orange buildings behind. Many seated devotees wear white clothes, and several women wear saris in blue, green, pink and red with long braids. Figures in saffron-orange robes sit near the shrine, and standing attendants in dark uniforms line the sides. Colourful striped canopies and a trident-topped pole frame the area. A figure in orange robes and a shaved head sits on a raised seat at the shrine; appearance is insufficient to identify him, so he is described only by role.2006-12-25July 28 20152015-07-28Outdoor photo on temple steps beside a pink wall and an ornate grey metal gate. A man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala sits on the upper step, speaking to a group. A bald man in orange sits to his right, and a man in a light orange robe sits on the step beside them. Around fifteen seated devotees in white dhotis and white kurtas, plus a woman in a red sari, listen on the stone pavement. A cameraman in white stands at left filming, and a man in white stands at right with a bare upper body. The scene is a satsang or discourse. The orange-clad teacher's appearance is consistent with the page's a person context only in a general way, so identity is uncertain.2011-09-09
