Both are draped in marigold and multicoloured flower garlands forming a tall backdrop. In front, a silver-toned sanctum ornament with a white sculpted face sits on a yellow cloth, and a standing yellow-robed figure statue with white garland stands at right. They sit on a purple cloth-draped platform in front of a golden arch, with a brass oil lamp to the right and orange drapes framing the open pavilion. Stone pillars with carved capitals surround the shrine, and a garlanded kalasha or peetha base sits in the foreground. No physical people are visible.2010-12-27December 14 20102010-12-14A shrine scene showing a set of decorated deity murtis, not living people. Centre, a large Shiva-form murti with a crown and a raised hand sits on a throne-like seat under a golden arch, with a second figure beside it in a blue and purple garment. Garlands of yellow, white, red and green flowers frame the arch and figures. In front, a small crowned murti sits in a golden palanquin-style seat flanked by carved lion-like figures, and an offering stands on a golden platform. To the left, a figure in a purple turban and purple sari with heavy necklaces stands by a brass lamp stand, and to the right a figure in a maroon garment with a garland holds a brass lamp. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides, and yellow drapery hangs above.2016-12-17
